Lakeland, MN (KROC-AM News) - The Washington County Sheriff's Office says it appears slippery conditions contributed to a crash on Friday afternoon that claimed the life of a teenage girl.

The Sheriff's Office says the deadly crash was reported around 4 PM on a two-lane highway just west of the town of Lakeland, which is located on the Minnesota side of the St. Croix River across from Hudson, Wisconsin. A news release says the driver of one of the two vehicles involved in the collision, 17-year-old Elizabeth Radecki of Woodbury, was pronounced dead at the scene.
