Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) -  A Rochester woman reported missing earlier this week has been reunited with her family.

At the request of the woman’s family, Rochester police issued a request Wednesday asking the public’s help in trying to locate her.

At the time, police said 30-year-old Magen Atkins was last seen May 12th, leaving a local hotel. Some of her belongings were later discovered in Indian Heights Park in northwest Rochester.

Atkins became aware of the news media coverage of the request and left a voicemail with an RPD investigator later Wednesday.

RPD spokeswoman Amanda Grayson reported Thursday night Atkins “has been located and reunited with family.”
