MN GOP: Donors Were Generous Last Month

The Minnesota Republican Party is reporting its best fundraising month in recent years.

 The party says donations during June totaled $719,000.  Party Chairman Keith Downey credits the momentum that was created during the state convention that was held in Rochester in May.  The June figure is more than a third of the year-to-date donation total of $1.9 million.  The party has endorsed candidates for the major seats up for election this year, although many will face primary challenges next month.
