Help the Minnesota State Fair Pick this Year’s ‘Flavor of the Fair’

As of writing this, we're 68 days away from the Great Minnesota Get-Together! I'm so excited! In case you don't know, I'm a huge fan of the Minnesota State Fair. But apparently, I'm a fake fan because, to be honest, I didn't know until this year that you could be a part of picking each year's 'Flavor of the Fair'.

The 'Flavor of the Fair' is the featured ice cream dish that can be found in the Dairy Barn during the fair. I honestly didn't realize we could vote on this until now. So obviously I've already made my vote for today.

Vote for the 2023 'Flavor of the Fair'

There are three options for this year's 'Flavor of the Fair'. Only one of them will be featured at the fair this year. Voting has already begun and runs through June 30th so there's still time to try and get your favorite to the top.

As far as I can tell you can't see where each flavor ranks before they announce a winner. But you are able to vote every day so if you have one flavor that you'd really love to try this year then don't forget to go vote every 24 hours.

2023 'Flavor of the Fair' Flavors

Here are the flavors that we're deciding between. These descriptions come from the Midwest Dairy website:

• Cheers for Cherries – This sweet, rich sundae or malt comes with cherries and a decadent drizzle of dark chocolate on top.
• Cookie Time – It’s about Cookie Time! This malt or sundae comes with chocolate cream-filled cookie pieces, with the option to add mint syrup for a wholesome, refreshing treat to beat the heat.
• Churro Your Way – Be a little extra! Churro Your Way comes with Churro cereal pieces and a sprinkling of cinnamon sugar, topped with your choice of chocolate or caramel syrup.

Today I voted for Churro Your Way but I'm torn between that one and the Cheers for Cherries because I'm a big cherries and dark chocolate lover.
