Jefferson, MN (KROC-AM News)- An Iowa man suffered injuries in a southeast Minnesota motorcycle crash on Wednesday.

The State Patrol responded to the crash shortly after 4 p.m. 

He was the only person involved. The crash occurred along the Mississippi River, just north of the Minnesota-Iowa border.

Iowa Man Injured After Losing Control of Motorcycle on Hwy. 26 in Houston County

The state crash report says the motorcycle was traveling southbound on Hwy. 26 when the driver lost control, causing the motorcycle to overturn. 

71-year-old Kevin Russell Hagen of Cedar Falls was identified as the motorcycle operator.

Iowa Motorcycle Operator Taken to Hospital

He was taken to a hospital in La Crosse with non-life-threatening injuries, the State Patrol says.

Hagen was wearing a helmet and alcohol was not involved in the crash, according to the state crash report

The Houston County Sheriff’s Office and Gundersen Ambulance also responded to the motorcycle crash.
