Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - An occupied house in a Rochester neighborhood was hit by gunfire Friday.

Officers were called to the 1100 block of 7th Ave NW around 10:00 pm and discovered “multiple rounds were fired ”at the residence."

Several shell casings were recovered at the scene, which is a few blocks north of Cooke Park.

Rochester Police Dept. spokeswoman Amanda Grayson says “Three people were inside the residence, but no one was injured.“

The search for suspects continued Saturday morning. Grayson says “No additional information is available at this time.”
