The organization gave its Outstanding County Service Award to Richard Devlin. He has been Olmsted County Administrator since 1973. That makes him the longest serving county administrator in the state.  His staff says he has no immediate plans to retire.

The award was presented during the AMC’s annual conference in St. Cloud.

According to its website, the Association of Minnesota Counties is a voluntary, non-partisan statewide organization that has assisted the state’s 87 counties since 1909.
