The BCA canceled the alert late Saturday morning after authorities found Apman's body in Boom Island Park in Minneapolis Friday night. His body has been sent to the Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s Office to determine his cause of death.

Apman was on trail for the August 2021 killing of Juan Morales-Rivera in Windom. Court documents say he strangled the man to death.

The alert indicated he was believed to have been armed in the Twin Cities area.
