One Hurt, 22 Displaced By St. Paul High-Rise Fire
St. Paul, MN (KROC-AM News) - One person was transported to a hospital after St. Paul firefighters responded to a fire in a 16 story condominium complex last night.
The fire on the 11th floor of the building prompted the evacuation of multiple floors and left 8 units uninhabitable. Officials say 22 residents were displaced from their homes. The response to the fire, which was reported around 8:15 p.m., included over 60 firefighters, almost a dozen firetrucks, and for ambulances.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
