One of Olmsted County’s “Most Wanted” Captured
Spring Grove, MN (KROC-AM News) - A man on Olmsted County’s “Most Wanted” list has been captured in Houston County. Olmsted County Sheriff’s Department Captain Scott Behrns says 36-year-old Luke Hottel was located and apprehended at a home in Spring Grove.
Hottel had been on the run since last October when he led an Olmsted County deputy on a brief chase between Rochester and Byron before the deputy broke off the pursuit for safety reasons. He was wanted on a criminal complaint connected to an assault on a woman that was later amended to include an attempted murder charge.
Houston County officials also reported the arrest of a 40-year-old woman for allegedly harboring a fugitive.
