Man Arrested After Spring Grove MN Apartment Fire
Spring Grove, MN (KROC-AM News) - The Houston County Sheriff's Office is reporting an arrest in connection with a fire at an apartment building in Spring Grove last week.
A news release says the fire was reported at the Spring Grove Manor apartment complex shortly after midnight on January 23. The responding deputies and Spring Grove firefighters were able to safely evacuate all of the occupants from the building. One of the deputies suffered from some smoke inhalation, but otherwise, no injuries were reported.

The Sheriff's Office says 28 people were in the building when the fire broke out. 13 of them were assisted by the Red Cross in finding shelter, while the others stayed with friends and family members.
The news release indicates one of the residents of the building was taken into custody pending arson charges. He was identified as 36-year-old Andrew Forester. As of Monday afternoon, Forester is not listed among the detainees in the Houston County Jail.
Houston County Sheriff Brian Swedburg says the State Fire Marshal's office is assisting with the investigation, which is ongoing.
