
Pedestrian Struck on Highway 52 in Rochester Saturday Evening
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - A Rochester woman was struck by a vehicle Saturday evening while attempting to cross Highway 52.
The Minnesota State Patrol says the incident was reported around 6:20 p.m. near the Civic Center Drive interchange. The crash report indicates the woman was hit by a northbound SUV driven by a Rochester man.
The pedestrian was identified as 53-year-old Sanita Antoinette Asberry. The State Patrol says she was transported to St. Mary’s Hospital by Mayo Clinic Ambulance with what were described as non-life-threatening injuries.

The State Patrol identified the driver of the SUV as 34-year-old Abdulkadir Diriye. He was not injured.

The preliminary State Patrol report states alcohol was not involved and the pavement was dry.
