Plainview Woman Injured in Crash Near Elgin

Elgin, MN (KROC-AM News) - A Plainview woman was injured Thursday morning in a traffic crash just south of Elgin.

The State Patrol says 60-year-old Karen Peters was driving north on Highway 42 when her vehicle collided with a car as it slowed down to make a turn. The crash was reported just after 11 AM.

Peters was transported to St. Mary's hospital with what were described as non-life-threatening injuries. The other driver, a 50-year-old Elgin man, was not hurt.
