Bettergoods Lemon Alfredo Fettuccine Recalled Over Possible Listeria Risk
Gias Foods, Inc. is recalling two lots of Bettergoods Authentic Italian Lemon Alfredo Fettuccine because the product may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes.
The pasta was sold at Walmart stores nationwide.
The recall involves a very specific product, so here's what shoppers should look for:
• Product: Bettergoods Authentic Italian Lemon Alfredo Fettuccine
• Size: 22-ounce package
• Packaging: Yellow plastic package
• UPC: 194346442706
• Lot: L6079C or L6080C
• Expiration dates: 09/19/2027 or 09/20/2027
• Retailer: Walmart stores nationwide

The FDA says the potential contamination was discovered through routine sampling conducted by the Washington State Department of Agriculture and the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. No illnesses have been reported as of the recall announcement.
Listeria can cause serious illness, particularly for young children, older adults, people with weakened immune systems and pregnant women. In pregnancy, infection can lead to miscarriage or stillbirth.
If you have one of the recalled packages, don't eat it. The FDA says consumers should return the product to the place of purchase for a full refund.
Gias Foods is also investigating the issue and has stopped distribution of the affected product.
