Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - A Rochester man involved in a series of armed robberies two years ago today into a plea agreement in the final case against him.

22-year-old Dushawn Minor entered a guilty plea to a first-degree aggravated robbery charge and was sentenced to just under 5-years in prison for his role in carjacking a food delivery driver. The victim was sitting in his parked car when Minor and another man put a gun to his side and pulled him out of the vehicle before driving away in the car. The crime occurred about a week before Minor took part in an armed robbery at a sun tanning business in northwest Rochester during which an employee was pistol-whipped on the head.

Minor was also convicted of robbing a Rochester motel in August 2017. He was placed on probation in that case but is currently serving a 9-year prison sentence for the Sun Tan City holdup. The sentencing order issued today allows him to serve the new 58-month sentence concurrent with the 9-year prison term.
