Rochester Man Charged in NW Burglary Spree
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - A Rochester man is facing multiple charges connected to the investigation into what police described as a spree of burglaries in northwest Rochester that occurred while he was on probation for a previous burglary conviction..
Three criminal complaints were filed in Olmsted County Court against Cole Conrad Uhde on his 23rd birthday. He has been ordered to appear in court next month to face the charges.

One of the complaints involves a residential burglary that was reported on April 9 at a home on 57th Street Northwest. A man reported that he discovered a bike, valued at $2,000, had been stolen from his garage. The court document says police later executed a search warrant at Uhde's northwest Rochester residence and recovered the stolen bicycle.
During that same search, Rochester police also recovered a power tool set and drill bits that had been reported stolen from another home in northwest Rochester. In that case, the victim told police that he and his wife were sleeping when their dog alerted them, and he discovered that the garage door to their home had been forced open and a number of items had been taken.
The third criminal complaint involves the theft of a handgun and tools from a vehicle. The court document says the stolen tools were also found during the search of Uhde's residence.

The court documents indicate Uhde was convicted earlier this year of second-degree burglary and has a previous conviction for receiving stolen property. He was sentenced in April to five years on probation for the burglary conviction.
