Rochester Crash Injures Driver, Alcohol Suspected
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News)- The State Patrol suspects alcohol was involved in a single-vehicle crash in Rochester early Friday morning.
It happened at Hwy. 52/6th St. Southwest interchange. The crash was reported shortly before 1:30 a.m.
The state crash report indicates a northbound SUV collided with the concrete median then rolled. The driver has been identified as 29-year-old Edwin Fernando Morale Guerrero of Rochester.
He was taken to St. Mary’s Hospital with what are being described as non-life-threatening injuries. The state crash report indicates alcohol was involved in the crash.
Guerrero was buckled up. The Rochester Fire Department, Rochester Police Department and Mayo Clinic Ambulance also responded to the single-vehicle crash.
