
Rochester Police Arrest Gunman Suspected of Wounding Man During Drive-By Shooting
The victim, described in emergency radio communications as a male in his 20s, was taken to St. Mary’s Hospital.
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News)- The suspect in a Rochester drive-by shooting that sent a man to the hospital is in custody.

That’s according to Rochester Police Department Communications Coordinator Amanda Grayson, who said the alleged gunman is a Rochester resident.

The gunfire occurred early Saturday morning in northwest Rochester. Police previously indicated the shooting was not a random act.

Rochester police responded to the shooting around 4 a.m. Saturday in the 2300 block 18 1/2 Avenue Northwest.
The victim, described in emergency radio communications as a male in his 20s, was taken to St. Mary’s Hospital. Police described his wounds as non-life-threatening.
His name has not been released.
30-Year-Old Man Arrested for Drive-By Shooting in Northwest Rochester Neighborhood
Grayson says the suspect, identified as 30-year-old Dwight Campbell, was taken into custody around 10:00 Tuesday morning.
Olmsted County Adult Detention Center records indicate Campbell was booked into the jail shortly after 10:40 Tuesday morning.
Charges against Campbell are pending, Grayson said. His first court appearance has not yet been scheduled.
