Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News)- A drive-by shooting over the weekend in Rochester sent one man to the hospital.

That’s according to Rochester Police Department Communications Coordinator Amanda Grayson.
Officers responded to the report of gunfire shortly after 4:00 Saturday morning.

Man Hit by Gunfire During Northwest Rochester Drive-By Shooting, Police Investigating
Grayson says the drive-by shooting occurred in the 2300 block 18 1/2 Avenue Northwest.

The victim, described in emergency radio communications as a male in his 20s, was taken to St. Mary’s Hospital.
Police described his injuries as non-life-threatening. Grayson indicates the shooting does not appear to have been a random act.
As of Monday morning, no arrests have been announced.
