
Rochester Firefighters Respond to West Center Street Fire
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - Rochester firefighters were called out early this morning to battle a residential fire.
A statement issued by the Rochester Fire Department says the fire was reported around 5:20 a.m. at 908 West Center Street. The responding firefighters indicated that smoke was coming from the roof of the house.

Blaze Found in Wall and Attic of Third-Floor Apartment
The news release says firefighters entered the structure and located a fire inside the wall of a third-floor apartment. A further inspection led to the discovery of fire in the attic of the house.
No Injuries Reported in Early Morning Fire
A 300-foot hose was deployed through a rear staircase to the third floor to extinguish the flames, while a search of the entire house was conducted. No injuries were reported.
The Fire Department has not indicated whether the source of the fire has been identified and has not provided an estimate of the damage or the loss associated with the blaze.
