Moorhead, MN (KROC-AM News) - A Rochester man is jailed in northwestern Minnesota today in connection with a major drug bust.

The Moorhead Police Department issued a news release Wednesday afternoon concerning a traffic stop that was conducted Tuesday on I-94 near Barnesville in Clay County. Officials say a search of the vehicle and the driver resulted in the seizure of approximately 1000 M30 fentanyl pills and 13 grams of cocaine.

The driver was identified as 33-year-old Antonio Deandre Johnson of Rochester. The news release says he is currently being held at the Clay County Correctional Facility.

Johnson was arraigned today in Clay County Court on aggravated first-degree drug sales charge, two additional first-degree drug charges for sale and possession and a third-degree drug possession charge. His conditional bail was set at $1.5 million.

Moorhead Police say investigators believe the drugs were sent to be delivered to the Fargo-Moorhead area to be sold in that community.

The investigation also involved the Clay County Sheriff's Office, Fargo Police, the State Patrol, North Dakota Drug Task Force, North Dakota Bureau of Criminal Investigation, and the federal Drug Enforcement Administration.
