Police Lieutenant Mike Sadauskis says an officer on patrol pulled over 19-year-old Abukar Mohamed late Saturday night in a residential neighborhood a few blocks west of Slatterly Park after witnessing the illegal lane change and quickly learned he was wanted on an arrest warrant. It was while Mohamed was being processed into the Olmsted County jail that it was discovered he had a plastic bag containing 23 Xanax pills stashed in his “privates.”

In addition to the charges connected to the warrant, Mohamed is now expected to be charged with felony-level drug possession.
