A Rochester man who squirted a mixture of urine and feces into the face of an Olmsted County detention deputy has been sentenced to prison. But he won’t actually do any time for the crime.
Charges are being prepared against a former Kasson Police Officer who is now being held in the Olmsted County jail on suspicion of criminal sexual conduct.
The Olmsted County Sheriff’s Department and others involved in the local criminal justice system are considering some changes in the way criminal defendants are handled to help manage a space crunch in the county jail.
A spokesman for the US Attorney in Colorado today declined to comment on a Rochester man’s case, but did indicate an announcement could be coming next week.
