Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News)- The Rochester Police Department says a man jumped to his death from a downtown parking ramp early Thursday morning.

Police Captain Casey Moilanen said officers responded to the report of a deceased male being discovered shortly before 2:30 a.m. The man was found near the Mayo Civic Center ramp in the area of 1st St. and 1st Ave. Southeast.

Moilanen said the initial investigation indicates the 27-year-old Rochester man jumped from the sixth floor of the ramp. His death is being considered a suicide.
