Rochester Man Injured in Crash on Highway 52

Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - A Rochester man was taken to St. Marys Hospital this afternoon following a traffic crash on Highway 52 not too far from the hospital.

The State Patrol says 69-year-old Lawrence Martinez was driving north in the middle lane of the highway near the 2nd Street Southwest interchange when he attempted a lane change to the left and collided with a pickup truck in the left lane around 2:20 pm. The injuries sustained by Martinez were described as non-life threatening, while the other driver was not hurt.
