Rochester Man Recovering After Being Hit With Large Beer Glass

Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - An apparent jealous man is being sought by Rochester police.

Officers were called to the Rooster’s Two! Bar and Grill around 8:30 pm Monday to check an assault report. A 27-year-old man said he had been hit over the head with a large beer glass.

The victim said he and some friends were talking to a woman who had come to the bar with the suspect.

The victim said the man initially challenged him to a fight and then hit him with the mug. The suspect then left without the woman.

Although the victim wasn’t seriously hurt, the suspect could face a felony assault charge.
