
Rochester Man Seriously Hurt in Highway 52 Crash
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News)- A crash on a slick stretch Hwy. 52 sent a Rochester man to a hospital with serious injuries Sunday evening.

The State Patrol responded to a two vehicle-crash at the Hwy. 52/Civic Center Dr. interchange shortly after 5:15 p.m. Sunday. The crash report indicates a southbound car had lost control, went to the left and was struck by a pick-up towing a trailer.
The car driver was identified as 25-year-old Don Morgan. He was brought to St. Mary’s Hospital with what are being described as life-threatening injuries.
All four of the occupants in the pick-up were also brought to St. Mary’s Hospital. Three adults in the pickup suffered what were described as non-life-threatening injuries and an infant in the truck was also hospitalized however no injuries were reported.
The driver was identified as 27-year-old Allan Fry of Ossian, IA and the adult passengers were identified as 47-year-old Peggy Fry of Waukon, IA and 25-year-old Tiffany Fry of Ossian, IA. The state crash report says its unknown if Morgan was buckled.
The four pick-up occupants were buckled up. Alcohol was not a factor in causing the crash. The Rochester Fire Department, Rochester Police Department and Mayo Clinic Ambulance also responded to the crash.
