
Rochester Man Charged for Large Fentanyl Pill Bust
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News)- A Rochester man has been charged for an alleged fentanyl bust that happened back in January.

The criminal complaint, filed in Olmsted County Court on Thursday, says the bust occurred on January 4.
Rochester police discovered a large amount of the deadly pills while serving a search warrant, the court document says.

Investigators executed the search warrant during a traffic stop at the intersection of 8th Ave. Southeast and East Center St. Police were granted a warrant to search the stopped vehicle, the complaint says.
The target of the warrant, identified in the court filing as 23-year-old Alex Michael Berg, was also searched during the stop. Berg exited the vehicle upon law enforcement commands.
A search of his person led to the discovery of a baggie containing 194 pills that tested positive for fentanyl, the complaint says.
The pills, described in the court document as blue M-30 pills, weighed 19.4 grams with packaging.

Berg has been charged with one count of first-degree possession. He’s ordered to make his first appearance in Olmsted County Court next month.
