Rochester PD Seeking Suspect involved in Brazen Best Buy Theft
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News)- The Rochester Police Department is looking for a man suspected of committing a brazen theft at Best Buy.
A police spokeswoman said officers responded to a theft report at the electronics store in the 4,000 block of Frontage Rd. Northwest shortly after 4 p.m. on Monday. The theft report indicates a man was seen running out of the store with two Apple MacBook Pro laptops and other merchandise.
The suspect was described as being dressed in dark clothing. He was seen getting into a black vehicle waiting on the north side of the store along East Frontage Rd.
Police say the vehicle was then seen fleeing the store north on East Frontage Rd. Officers summoned a K9 and searched the area but did not find the suspect. So far no arrests have been made.
