Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - Rochester police responded to reports of gunfire near the Rochester Community and Technical College campus Friday night.

Very little information concerning the incident is available, but a spokesperson says officers responded around 11:55 PM to multiple reports of shots fired at The Quarters Apartments at 842 21st Avenue Southeast. One person was injured, but information about the victim's medical condition is not yet available.


Rochester Police did say it appeared the altercation that led to the shooting involved two groups of people who were known to each other.  Officials do not believe the incident presents a risk to the general public.

At the last report, no arrests have been reported. Additional information is expected to be released Monday morning.
