Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News)- The Rochester Police Department is investigating a garage burglary.

Police Captain Casey Moilanen said officers responded to a residence near St. Mary's Hospital in the 500 block of 14th Ave. Southwest. The resident, described as a 26-year-old Rochester man, reported someone had entered the detached garage on the property between 6 p.m. Sunday and 8:05 a.m. Monday.

Moilanen said responding officers noticed a window on the garage had been broken out. The man reported a circular saw and miscellaneous sockets and wrenches missing from the garage. 

The man reported parking his vehicle in the garage Sunday night then said he noticed the broken window Monday morning. Moilanen said no arrests have been made so far. 

A damage estimate along with a monetary estimate of the property reported stolen are not available.
