Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) -  Rochester police are investigating two residential burglaries, including one during which the victim actually saw the thieves.

That happened around 6:00 AM Sunday in the Country Club Manor neighborhood.

A woman called 911 to report seeing two people inside her garage, rummaging through her vehicle. They fled when they saw her but made off with a $250 GPS device. The victim lives in the 4700 block of 3rd St NW.

The other break-in happened in the Elton Hills neighborhood while the victim was at work Sunday night. The woman returned home Monday morning to discover her residence had been trashed. No word yet on what the loss was. The home is located in the 2900 block of 7 Ave NW near John Adams school.
