Rochester Police Investigating Two NW Burglaries
Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - Burglars made off with property worth several thousand dollars from two NW Rochester residences.
Both of the break-ins occurred while the occupants were at work.
One happened at The Hylands apartment complex located in the 2600 block of Charles Ct NW. A woman reported the burglary Tuesday morning, telling police it happened between 8:00 PM Monday and 2:00 AM Tuesday. There was no sign of forced entry.
The other burglary happened during the day Tuesday at an apartment in the 2000 block of 18 ½ Ave NW. The occupant told officers the rear patio door had accidentally been left unlocked.
Taken in both break-ins were TV sets, video games, computers, jewelry, clothing and more - including a $700 belt. The overall loss was put at $8500.
