Rochester Police Release Video of Home Invasion Suspects
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - The Rochester Police Department wants you to watch a security camera video and call if you recognize anyone.
The video was captured by a camera placed at an entrance to The Quarters Apartment Complex in the early morning hours of April 26th. Investigators suspect the people seen on the video were involved in a home invasion in one of the apartments at the complex near the Rochester Community and Technical College.
There were three young men in the residence and one of them was assaulted and robbed of his cell phone. The victims told police three Hispanic males barged into the unit and kicked in the door to the bathroom when one of the RCTC students tried to escape. He was the person who was beaten and lost his phone.
All three victims told investigators they had no idea why they were targeted.
A police spokesman says two private security guards were in a vehicle in the building’s parking lot when the incident occurred, but they say they never heard or saw anything.
