
Rochester Police Revive Woman from Drug Overdose
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News)- Rochester police officers revived a woman who was rendered unconscious by a drug overdose Tuesday night.

Police Captain Casey Moilanen said officers responded to the overdose call in the 2900 block of Jeremiah Ln. in Northwest Rochester around 11:30 p.m. Officers found a 28-year-old woman unconscious on the floor of the residence and administered narcan.
The woman had a strong pulse but struggled to breath, Moilanen said. Officers opened up her airway then turned her over to Mayo Ambulance personnel when they arrived on scene.
Moilanen said the woman came to after being put in the care of Mayo Ambulance. The woman told police she had used cocaine before the overdose.

Moilanen says it’s unknown if the cocaine was laced with fentanyl.
