Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News)- A teenage man has been charged in a Rochester sex assault case.

The 18-year-old made his first appearance in Olmsted County Court on Monday morning. 

The charges allege that he sexually abused the victim, who is described in the court document as a girl under the age of 14, on multiple occasions.

Kyler Michael Moll of Rochester is charged with one count each of first-degree criminal sexual conduct, second-degree criminal sexual conduct and gross misdemeanor indecent exposure.

The court document states that a mandatory reporter at a local elementary school learned an older student overhead the victim talking about an 18-year-old boy touching her privates.

During an interview with law enforcement last week, the victim said Moll sexually abused her sometime after Christmas and after Easter, the charges say. She also alleged that Moll exposed himself to her, according to the criminal complaint.

18-Year-Old Sex Assault Suspect Speaks to Officers

Rochester police arrested Moll at his home. During an interview with investigators, Moll admitted to allegations, saying the sexual abuse happened more than once, the charges say. 

He also stated the abuse occurred more than once within the past month and as recently as the days leading up to his arrest. 

Moll’s conditional bail was set at $5,000. He’s due to return to court later this month.
