A criminal complaint filed in Olmsted County Court on Thursday morning says the case stems from a cyber tip sent to the Rochester Police Department last November.
The tip concerned six videos depicting girls between ages of 1 and 16 engaging in sexual acts being uploaded to the social media platform last September.

Police connected the IP address associated with the tip to a home in northwest Rochester. Investigators executed a search warrant at the home on Tuesday and encountered 19-year-old Diego Labastida.
The complaint says Labastida retreated into the home when officers arrived and was instructed to stop. He turned his phone over to officers then sat for an interview.
Labastida admitted to owning the X account and email account that were associated with the cyber tip. He admitted to viewing child pornography for “a few years,” and said he views the material daily, the charges state.
The complaint says Labastida also admitted to using his phone to send child pornography to other people.
One of the videos uploaded to Labastida’s X account depicted a 3-5 year-old girl and adult male engaging in a sexual act. Another video showed an adult male and 1-3 year-old girl engaging in a sexual act, the complaint says.
Labastida is charged with one count of disseminating child sexual abuse material and one count of possession of child pornography. He made his first court appearance Thursday morning.
