Rochester Woman Injured In Rural Olmsted County Crash

Potsdam, MN (KROC AM News) - A Rochester woman was taken to St. Marys Hospital during Wednesday’s storm after the vehicle she was in crashed in rural Olmsted County.

The Minnesota State Patrol says a vehicle driven by 42-year-old Thomas Klees of Rochester was westbound on Highway 247 when it lost control, ran off the road, into the ditch, and struck a tree.

His passenger 34-year-old Maija Klees suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

The accident happened around 5:45 PM near Potsdam. The road condition at the time was described as snow/icy.
