A few dozen have been planted on the south side of 2nd St SW near the bridge that crosses Highway 52. It's also just two blocks west of St. Marys Hospital, meaning they are visible to many of its employees as they head to work.

The signs have various messages, thanking health care workers and first responders for all they do during the COVID-19 crisis.  Also being thanked are grocery store and postal workers.
