Roseville, MN (KROC-AM News) - Authorities in the Twin Cities are seeking the drivers of several vehicles who may have witnessed a deadly incident at a busy intersection in Roseville late yesterday afternoon.

Videos from security cameras in the area show a white SUV, a silver sedan, and a white sedan were at the intersection of Rice Street and Larpenteur Avenue around 5:35 PM, which is the time a pickup driven by a 72-year-old man struck and killed 2 pedestrians. Officials say it’s hoped the motorists will have information useful to investigators, who would also like to hear from a pedestrian who spoke with a police officer at the scene but left before he could be asked for his name.

Roseville Police also say investigators obtained a blood sample from the motorist, identified as John Rickey of St. Paul. The sample was then sent to the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension for testing.

The victims, who were both from Roseville, were identified as 47-year-old Robert Buxton and 45-year-old Merideth Aikens.
