Holders of Massive Winning Minnesota Lottery Tickets Have Not Yet Come Forward
Roseville, MN (KROC-AM News)- The Minnesota Lottery says the holders of lottery tickets with large prizes sold in Rochester and elsewhere in Minnesota have not yet come forward.
The tickets were sold for drawings last Month. The lucky local lottery player bought their winning ticket at one of Rochester’s Hy-Vee stores.
It’s a Powerball ticket worth $50,000 that was sold at the Crossroads Hy-Vee in southwest Rochester. The ticket is from the Dec. 13 drawing.
That powerball ticket is one of two major lottery winners sold in southeast Minnesota last year that has gone unclaimed so far. One of the two $1 million winning tickets from the Minnesota Millionaire raffle tickets from last year was sold in the Northfield area.
The winning player who bought the ticket from the Kwik Trip in Dundas has still not come forward yet. The other $1 million dollar prize from the annual raffle, sold at Coborn’s in Delano, has also gone unclaimed.
In addition to the Powerball ticket in Rochester and two $1 million raffle tickets, the lottery says a Gopher 5 Ticket worth $222,000 sold on New Year’s Day is still unclaimed. The winning lottery player bought it at a convenience store in Silver Lake.
Holders of the winning tickets can claim their prize at any authorized Minnesota lottery retailer or on the Minnesota Lottery’s website.
