Merchandise Stolen During Break-in At Rochester Smoke Shop

Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News)- Merchandise from a Rochester smoke shop was stolen during a break-in early Wednesday morning.

That’s according to Rochester Police Department Communications Coordinator Amanda Grayson.

Police responded to an alarm at the store around 2:45 a.m.

Rochester Police Investigating Early Morning Break-in at Tony's Smoke Shop

The apparent burglary and theft occurred at Tony’s Smoke Shop, which is located at 440 Crossroads Dr. SW.

Responding officers found the business’s front door had been shattered and also located a trail of THC gummies and debris, Grayson said.

Merchandise was stolen from the store. A dollar estimate of the missing items is not available and a damage estimate has not been given.

No Suspect Found at Scene

Grayson says officers established a perimeter and flew a drone inside of the store to search before officers entered. No one was found after police got to the scene.

Rochester police are continuing to investigate the break-in and theft, Grayson said.
