The Rochester Public Utilities Board is scheduled to hold a special meeting tomorrow to vote on the appointment of a new general manager.

 Larry Koshire told the board in December that he had decided to retire at the end of April.  A nationwide search for a successor was launched and it attracted 38 applicants.  Four finalists were picked from the list and one is being recommended for the job.  Koshire was hired as general manager of RPU in 1997. He had worked at RPU earlier before taking a job in Iowa.
