
Update: Multiple Guns Stolen During Minnesota Big Box Store Burglary
Austin, MN (KROC-AM News)- Police in southeast Minnesota are now reporting that multiple guns were taken during a recent burglary at a big box store.

Multiple law enforcement agencies responded to an alarm call at the Runnings store in Austin around 6 a.m. Monday morning.
Austin Police Chief Dave McKichan said Monday that officers, Mower County Sheriff’s Deputies and the Minnesota State Patrol formed a perimeter around the store after learning the alarm was not triggered by an employee.
The Austin/Mower Special Incident Response Team, which is deployed for high-risk situations, responded to the store to conduct a search due to the possibility of the suspects still being inside.

Law enforcement later learned the suspects had fled before law enforcement established the perimeter.
Update: Four Guns Stolen During Burglary at Runnings in Austin, MN
On Tuesday, McKichan released more information about the suspected burglary. He said four firearms were taken during the burglary.
McKichan says two of the guns have since been recovered. So far no arrests have been made.
McKichan previously indicated that multiple suspects are involved in the apparent burglary. A description of the suspects has not been released.
Austin police are asking anyone with information about the burglary to come forward.
