Search Continues for Rochester Man Missing Since Last Year
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News)- The Rochester Police Department is renewing its request for the public’s assistance with finding a missing man.
Police are asking property owners near St. Mary’s Hospital to once again check their yards, sheds, under-deck areas and garages for any signs of the Rochester man. Investigators are focused on properties between St. Mary’s Hospital and Civic Center Dr. Northwest.
43-year-old Thomas McElroy left St. Mary’s Hospital against medical advice in the early morning hours of December 27 after receiving medical care. A police spokeswoman said he was last seen walking along 11th Ave. Northwest and was not dressed appropriately for the weather.
McElroy is described as white, 5’8”, 150 pounds with short, curly black hair. He also has a black beard and mustache.
