Second Person Charged in Rochester Sexual Assault Case
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News)- Two people have now been charged in a sexual assault case reported in Rochester last July.

20-year-old Kendra Gusa of Rochester faces charges of first-degree criminal sexual conduct and third-degree aiding and abetting criminal sexual conduct. The criminal complaint states Gusa lived with the victim of the sexual assault and arranged to have 48-year-old Brian Bird pick the two up and drive them to a hotel on Bandel Rd. in Rochester on the night of July 26.
Gusa is accused of preventing her roommate from leaving a van they were picked up in and for pulling the woman into a hotel room where she was sexually assaulted by Bird twice, the complaint says. Bird and Gusa are also accused of preventing the woman from leaving them before the alleged sexual assault.
Gusa told investigators her roommate freely participated in the activities. She has been summoned to appear in Olmsted County Court on November 8.
