
Teen Found With Stolen Gun Following Late-Night Rochester Park Shooting
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News)- Rochester Police say a teenage boy is in custody following a shooting at a Rochester park over the weekend.

The shooting was reported shortly before midnight on Friday, Rochester Police Department Communications Coordinator Amanda Grayson said.
Officers responded to the report of a group of teens being involved in a fight and gunshots being fired into the air.

Police Report Busting Teen With Stolen Gun Following Late-Night Shooting at Three Links Park in Northeast Rochester, MN
Grayson says the fight and shooting were reported at Three Links Park at 840 7th St. Northeast.
Police found an undisclosed amount of spent shell casings and a knife at the scene, according to the police report. Officers learned the suspects fled from the scene in a vehicle.
Officers then located the suspect vehicle at the Circle K gas station in the 700 block of North Broadway. Police found a 14-year-old boy in possession of a firearm that was reported stolen, according to Grayson.
The teenage boy was transported to the Anoka County Juvenile Detention Center and is expected to face multiple charges, police say. No injuries were reported.
The number of people involved in the reported fight and shooting has not been released. Police also didn’t say how many people were in the vehicle at the gas station.
