Moorhead, MN (KROC-AM News) - A statewide missing person's alert has gone out for a Minnesota woman.

The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension says police in Moorhead are requesting the public's assistance in locating 45-year-old Melissa Lohnes. Officials say the Moorhead was last seen earlier today in south Moorhead and it's possible she is with him an unknown acquaintance traveling in the direction of Sisseton, South Dakota.

She is described as Native American, about 5-6, 175 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a navy blue shirt and gray pants.

Anyone with information about her whereabouts is asked to contact the Red River Dispatch Center at 701-451-7660.

This is the second alert issued by the BCA at the request of Moorhead Police this week.
