Missing Minnesota Teen Girl Found Safe (Update)
Update: The BCA says she has been found safe.
Bigfork, MN (KROC-AM News)- The Minnesota BCA has issued a statewide missing person alert for a teenage girl.
The alert was issued Monday morning. She was last seen on Friday.
The alert, issued on behalf of the Itasca County Sheriff’s Office, says 16-year-old Alissa Plieseis was spotted leaving her residence in the small town of Bigfork, which is about 40 miles north of Grand Rapids, around 6:30 p.m.
Officials say she was moving on foot and her direction of travel and destination is unknown. Plieseis is described as 5’ 06”, 200 pounds with red hair and blue eyes.

She was last seen wearing a camouflage hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans, the alert says.
Authorities are asking anyone who may have seen the young girl since Friday or has information regarding her whereabouts to contact the Itasca County Sheriff’s Office at 218-326-3477.
