
Statewide Missing Person Alert Issued for Vulnerable Southern Minnesotan
Update: The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office canceled the alert for Maxine Garber Saturday night. She has been located safe.
Jackson, MN (KROC-AM News)- The Minnesota BCA has issued a statewide missing person alert for a vulnerable woman from southern Minnesota.

The alert was issued Friday night. The woman was reported missing to Jackson County authorities on Friday and was last seen on Thursday.
She’s identified as 84-year-old Maxine Garber from Jackson, MN. Authorities say she suffers from Dementia.
Camera footage obtained by law enforcement shows Garber leaving her Jackson residence on foot around 8:30 Thursday night wearing a black jacket with broad white stripes, black pants and black shoes. Officials say she does not have any personal belongings on her.
Authorities in Jackson County have been searching the area for her and are asking residents in Jackson to search their properties and check footage from any cameras they may have for signs of the elderly woman.
Garber is described as five feet tall, 110 pounds with white hair and blue eyes. Anyone who may have seen Garber or has information about her disappearance is asked to call the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office at 507-847-4420.
